After checking in with the crawlspace, they reported to us that there was a vapor barrier in place but there were still issues with excessive moisture such as mold growth, damaged insulation, and more. Following our comprehensive crawlspace evaluation, we determined that the following services were necessary:
  • A ground cleanout to remove debris, old floor insulation, and the existing vapor barrier.
  • A full two-stage mold treatment to kill mold growth found on all wood surfaces and inhibit future growth.
  • A disinfection & sanitation treatment to the floors and walls.
  • Installed 25 millimeter drainage matting.
  • Installed a 12 millimeter string reinforced vapor barrier to the floors, walls, & pillars.

  • Extended the current condensate line one to two feet away from the foundation located outside the back of the house.
  • Sealed air leaks and tacked up wires where applicable.
