Completed Work in Long Beach & Cape May
In our new blog series, we are going to take you through our process at Jersey Shore Crawlspace Enhancement and show you the before & after photos of completed work.
Both of these customers live close to the water, which can create a host of issues for the crawl space. We are happy to have made their crawl spaces ready to combat any unwanted moisture, structural damage, & pests so that their family can be protected for years to come.
Before & After — Long Beach
Our customer in Long Beach was in serious need of crawl space maintenance. We performed the following services:
- Ground clean-out.
- Insulation and debris removal.
- Mold treatment and disinfection & sanitization treatment.
- Installed a 12-Mil string vapor barrier on the floors, walls, and pillars.
- Installed drainage matting.
- Installed 2” rigid foam board insulation.
- Constructed a new crawl space door opening.
- General pest control services.
Before & After — Cape May
Our Cape May customer transformed their crawl space with a full encapsulation. We performed the following services:
- Ground clean-out.
- Insulation & debris removal.
- Mold treatment and disinfection & sanitization treatment.
- Installed string reinforced vapor barrier on the floors, walls, and pillars.
- Installed drainage matting
- Installed a 1/3 HP Sump Pump Install – 1 at back right corner AND 1 at front left corner (outlets not included) & extended the sump pump drain line under ground.
- Installation of an Aprilaire Model 1830 Dehumidifier.
- 2″ rigid foam board sidewall insulation installation.
- Sealed the air leaks around girder at right wall that adjoins neighboring the crawl space.
- PVC synthetic crawl space door installation & PVC synthetic crawl space door cover installation.
- Extended gutter downspout(s) below ground.
- Door well & vent well installation.
- Tacked up of wires where applicable.
- Grade the entire crawl space floor so that it is highest in middle and slopes toward each sump pump.
- Installation of 1 Lomanco PCV1 foundation vent fan.
