Before & After — Ocean Township

This customer reached out to us because they have a crawl space and noticed that their property was a little more damp than usual. After checking out their crawl space and not noticing anything too out of the usual, they decided to get a professional opinion to ensure that their crawl space was in good shape. Upon our inspection, we concluded that encapsulating their crawl space was the best option. To do so, we performed the following services:

• Ground clean out to clean up any loose debris and wet insulation.
• Partial mold/fungicide treatment near the entrance where black growth was present on the exposed joists.
• Disinfection & sanitization treatment on the floors and walls.
• Installed a 12-mil string reinforced vapor barrier on the floors, walls, & pillars.
• Installed 25-mil drainage matting.
• Installed an Aprilaire Model 1820 dehumidifier to replace the previous store bought unit.
• Sealed air leaks around the sump pump line exiting the foundation.
• Installed a vent well.
• Used a shop vac to remove the standing water.

Before & After — Little Egg Harbor

This customer came to us because they noticed mold on some of the joists. To remedy the issue of excessive moisture in the crawl space that causes mold, we completed the following work:

• Installed a 12-mil string reinforced vapor barrier on the floors traveling up 3-6” up the foundation walls.
• Sealed around the frames of the crawl space with waterproof caulk.
• Dug down the wells to mitigate water from entering the crawl space.
