• Due to the structure and design of this house, there are three separate crawlspaces with different entrances. The homeowner reached out to us because they were interested in getting their crawlspaces evaluated and specifically asked about new insulation and a vapor barrier for their crawlspaces. Following our comprehensive crawlspace evaluation, we determined that the following services were necessary to make them clean, dry, and protected:
  • Installed a 20-mil string reinforced vapor barrier to the floors, walls, & pillars.
  • Installed 2” rigid foam board sidewall insulation, including in the rim joist cavities.
  • Installed foam pipe insulation.
• In the third crawlspace, we performed the following services:
  • Removed old, damaged insulation and replaced it with R19 encapsulated insulation.
  • Installed foam pipe insulation.
