• This customer came to us for an evaluation because they weren’t sure of the condition of their crawl space. During the evaluation, we noticed that there were previous measures taken to mitigate moisture issues, such as a vapor barrier, but they weren’t properly protecting the crawl space on their own. To bring this crawl space back to life, we performed the following attic services:
  • Raised the grade of the crawlspace using approximately two tons of ⅜” pea gravel.
  • Installed a HP Zoeller sump pump and extended the sump pump line underground.
  • Used a shop vac to remove the standing water that was on top of the vapor barrier.
  • Installed a little R19 encapsulated insulation to fill in 2 empty narrow bays at the front half of the crawl space.
  • Removed & replaced the Aprilaire 1820 dehumidifier filter.
